Fremont Street Experience

So Thursday night I was planning on taking our rental car down to the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas. I had seen in once before when I was in 7th grade but I wanted to show Clark and see it again. Well that plan didn’t work out. We were SO TIRED from traveling all day (we were up for 24 hours straight) so we hit the bed around 10pm. Well the next morning we woke up around 8am and had 2 hours before we had to return the rental car so I thought we might as well head downtown and check out some more sites.
The Fremont Street Experience is not happening in the mornings. While the casinos were still open, almost all of the lights were off and it would definitely be something to experience at night. But I am glad we at least got to see it and see all the cool signs. There was also quite a bit of construction going on. Why is there always construction every where. I told Clark I want to live in a world were there is no construction but nothing is ever outdated. He said thats not going to happen. haha My favorite sign from downtown was the Golden Goose. There isn’t a casino called the Golden Goose anymore but the signs stay probably because they are old and historic (which I admire.)
After we went downtown we headed toward the rental car center and ate some breakfast at iHop. It was really yummy. The rest of the day was filled with walking .....oh SO MUCH WALKING. I didn’t realize my feet could hurt so bad. I didn’t bring my big camera out much only 3 times (the last three post) tomorrow I am going to post more random snaps of Vegas which is more accurate to our full experience.
