Goals for my 26th year!

Okay my birthday was this month and I didn't want to do my usual 26 before 27 or whatever like I have the last couple of years. Mostly because I don't have 26 solid goals for this year and usually I just end up making stuff up that I don't necessarily care about doing. So yeah not the best use of time when thinking about the future. So instead I am just going to share some of my goals for my 26th year of life. These are a lot of the same goals I have for 2018 and it is funny I honestly thought I posted a list of my 2018 goals but I went back and looked and I did not so here we are.

1. Read 5 books and add to my book collection. I know 5 books is so weak but I haven't read a whole book in forever so reading 5 seems like a do-able goal.

2. Go on 10 trips this year. 8 small 3-4 day trips and 2 big 7-10 day trips (not including back to USA)
Small done:
Krakow, Poland- 3 days
Barcelona/Andorra - 4 days
Brugge, Belgium - 4 days
Florence & Cinque Terre Italy - 4 days
Portugal/Spain/Gibraltar - 8 days
Venice, Verona, Lake Garda - 4 days

3. Finish 2018 with a 3.5+ GPA in all my college classes.

4. Go back to USA and visit family.

5. Go to one concert.

6. Turn hangers around in closet and only turn them back around when I have worn that item of clothing. At the end of the year the hangers still not turned around: donate those clothes.

7. Print more physical photos!

8. Continue recording 1 Second Everyday

9. Keep up with house cleaning better: i.e. washing sheets more often, vacuum more, mow lawn more regularly, etc.

10. Save money.

11. Visit 6 new countries. (Kind of in line with the trips goal but want to make sure I go to new countries.) Portugal, Spain.

12. Go on another solo Europe trip.

13. Take photos and share my living room makeover.

My last goal list 25 before 26. I didn't get everything accomplished but I feel really good about the stuff I did. It was a great year.

Barcelona Rooftop Infinity Pool

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Central when we were in Barcelona a couple of weeks ago and one thing that got my attention right away was the heated rooftop infinity pool. Usually I am more of a budget traveler but since it was my birthday and the hotel was cheaper anyways because of the off season we decided to go for it. I think this hotel is the nicest that Clark and I have ever stayed in. They had robs, slippers, and complimentary mini fridge in the room: 5 star luxuries. We also rented electric bikes from the hotel to bike around the city. And such a great location. I have way more photos from Barcelona to share but I thought I would dedicate a post to these photos since the sunset was just so pretty!
The pool was heated but Clark would not brave the elements for 10 seconds to get in with me haha

Andorra La Vella, Andorra

From Barcelona I knew I wanted to make sure to hit Andorra. It is a tiny little country but only 2.5 hours from Barcelona by car. So after spending 2 full days in Barcelona we rented a car and drove to Andorra. The drive was beautiful through the Pyrenees mountains and it was clear blue skies with snow on the ground. I will definitely be sharing about Barcelona I just don't have has many photos from Andorra so it is not as overwhelming to sifted through.
We stayed at the Andorra palace hotel for one night and it was a fine hotel in a good location bot the most fancy place but we could walk everywhere. There is a giant spa in Andorra called Caldea and supposedly it’s the biggest spa complex in Europe so I bought tickets ahead of time for 1:30-3:30 and we went and enjoyed time at the spa. There was multiple rooms with cold and hot pools, saunas, water massages etc. It was really nice and very relaxing and fun.
After the spa we spent the rest of the day walking around the city. I guess that Andorra is a tax free haven. You know when your in the airport and everything is Duty Free well every place is like this in Andorra. So there was a ton of fancy shops like Guess, Rolex, Apple etc. and a ton of car dealerships. We went in lots of different shops and saw so many cute dogs. Clark got one of those fun Norway coats that are super popular in Europe.
We also got some really yummy dinner at Udon such good noodle dishes and smoothies/milkshakes. The city really isn't that big. We started walking and just explored all the little streets. It was nice not to have any big plans and just relax. It was a fun day and I love checking off another country but I also want to explore that country. Not just touch the boarder and come back haha.

Happening 2.5.18

Just wanted to share some everyday life photos from recently.

Over the weekend we went out with our friends for our friend's birthday. We ate dinner, had gelato, then hit up the bar. It was a fun night.

Clark and I have been fitting colds this last week which has not been fun.

I have been cramming school work in so I can be all caught up because this weekend we are taking a little weekend trip for my bday.

I am still taking way to many photos of Knox.

I started rematching Shameless because it is fantastic and Clark has gotten really into it this time and now he makes me promise not to watch it without him haha.

I made pulled pork tacos and brownies over the weekend. Yum!

And we stayed up late watching the Super Bowl but mostly the halftime show.
